ALT Unveils High-Brightness LED Tube Lights 2013-05-17
ALT is set to launch its latest generation of 8-foot LED tube lights, breaking through technical barriers to deliver high-brightness lighting solutions that significantly enhance the efficiency and applicability of LED lighting across various settings.
According to ALT CEO James Liang, as environmental protection and energy-saving initiatives gain momentum globally, the company remains committed to leading the industry by leveraging Taiwan’s innovative LED technology to surpass traditional international lighting manufacturers. ALT’s core mission is to provide customers with the highest-quality lighting products.
With rising environmental awareness and increasing industrial and residential electricity costs, more consumers are adopting energy-saving practices in their daily lives. Replacing conventional lighting with LED bulbs has become one of the most effective and accessible solutions for saving energy in both industrial and residential applications.
Conventional fluorescent tubes face limitations in improving efficiency and wattage due to inadequate power design and poor heat dissipation, leading to suboptimal energy savings and shorter-than-advertised lifespans. ALT has addressed these challenges by combining patented heat sink fin technology with proprietary power design innovations. The new LED tube lights achieve over 120 lumens per watt, significantly exceeding the traditional standard of 60 lumens per watt, delivering 50% energy savings. With a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, the tubes can last for 20 years when used for seven hours daily, surpassing the longevity of most electrical appliances.
Additionally, the 46-watt, 8-foot LED tube features a lightweight all-aluminum structure, enhancing safety and making it ideal for installation in factories, warehouses, large shopping centers, outdoor parking lots, tunnels, and other commercial or industrial spaces requiring prolonged lighting. The design ensures zero glare, zero radiation, and stable, flicker-free illumination, creating an eye-friendly environment that minimizes fatigue. For industrial applications, this enhanced lighting safety is a significant advantage.
